Lot/Boundary surveys can be used for a number of reasons. If a homeowner is having a property dispute with a neighbor, they may need a survey to verify property lines. If a homeowner is planning to make major improvements to their home, (ie. Add a room, add a fence or shed, remove a structure, etc.) a survey may be required.
A boundary survey establishes the property boundaries as established by the county or city, typically found on certified plats or described by a metes and bounds legal description. A boundary survey will outline the proven property boundary as well as all improvements located on subject property.
This order form is primarily for property owners needing a survey for one of the reasons mentioned.
